• Bisher Tabbaa

    Bisher co-founded FADAA with a strong belief in architecture being an active agent in creating positive change to the climate, culture, and society. He has a Masters of Architecture from Columbia University GSAPP where he also held the position of Materials and Design Specialist at the Natural Materials Lab. Bisher earned his Bachelor of Arts in Architecture in London where he studied at the University of Westminster and the Architectural Association.

    At GSAPP, Bisher co-founded Masaha, a student organization dedicated to researching contemporary issues facing the Arab world.

    Bisher has designed projects in New York City, London, Dubai, and Amman, ranging from large scale masterplans to innovative installations that reflects FADAA’s unwavering commitment towards a symbiotic relationship between architecture, climate, and culture.

    Bisher He has served as a guest critic on juries at Columbia GSAPP, Cornell, and Syracuse University.

  • Sarah Hejazin

    Sarah Hejazin is an architectural designer, researcher and materials specialist based in New York. Her work focuses on the intersection of politics, space and ecology. Sarah holds a Bachelors of Architectural Engineering from the German Jordanian University and a Master in Advanced Architectural Design from Columbia University GSAPP. She is also the recipient of the 2021 Honor Award for Excellence in Advanced Architectural Design.

    While completing her degree, Sarah was a research assistant and a materials specialist at the Natural Materials Lab. She also co-founded and co-directed ‘Masaha’; a student organization that investigates contemporary issues facing the Arab World.

    Sarah worked in Jordan as an architect and a researcher at the multidisciplinary office Arini, where she worked on urban mapping projects in neighborhoods and refugee camps in Jordan alongside designing and curating the Crafts District of Amman Design Week 2019.

    After Graduate School, Sarah worked as an Architectural Designer at Make Make NYC and as a studio mentor and a lecturer at GSAPP. Sarah was also part of the Admissions Committee for the Masters of Advanced Architectural Design program for 2022.

  • Qussai Yousef

    Qussai Yousef is an architect and holds a bachelor degree in architectural engineering from the German Jordanian university. His work covers a wide spectrum of design related disciplines; from furniture and installation design, to cultural and hospitality design. He has worked in projects that were featured at the Venice Biennale in 2021 and Amman Design Week in 2019.
